
How to find your SteamIDThere's a lot of confusion when it comes to finding your own SteamID. This can be needed for a range of things such as online statistics, or relating it more to TrU KLAN, ordering one of our subscriptions. This short tutorial will explain and show how to get your SteamID. 1. Open Steam: Opening Steam is the easiest way of finding your own SteamID, so go ahead and double click the Steam icon on your desktop. 2. Open up an online Steam game: The next step is to open up a Steam game that has online gameplay. For this tutorial, I'll be picking Counter-Strike. ![]() 3. Connect to a server: Next, you must connect to an online game server. For this tutorial, I'll be using one of our servers. It doesn't matter which server you connect to, they will all give your correct SteamID. ![]() 4. Open Console: The final step is to open the console. This is done by pressing the ` key (located next to the number 1). Once open, type status and you will be produced with a small list. Look for the row with your game name.
